Program curriculum

Loyalist College has partnered with Bay of Quinte Economic Development and through the support of Employment Ontario are offering the Leadership Manufacturing micro-credential which will equip emerging learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead and strengthen their front-line in a manufacturing setting.

The programs flexible hybrid delivery allows you to complete the online component based on your schedule, at your own pace followed by 5-in-person sessions (3 hrs each) for more dynamic discussion and application.

The 6-week (25 hour) hybrid training is divided into learning modules that include:

• Building Emotional Intelligence – A Key to Successful Leadership
• Leadership Fundamentals for Manufacturing
• Supervisory Fundamentals for Manufacturing
• Supporting Change and Challenges in Manufacturing
• Building & Coaching Effective Team

Participant eligibility

Participants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible for this program:

• Must be currently working in Manufacturing
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada (not open to international students)
• Legally entitled to work in Canada according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations

*Note: Additional requirements related to the work placement may include a criminal record check and proof of certain immunizations. Students may be exposed to communicable diseases during their work placement.

Value of Training:  $ 1250 plus HST
