Applied research is a type of inquiry that focuses on developing practical solutions to real-world problems. It involves using existing knowledge, theories, and techniques to address specific problems or challenges in a particular field or industry.
Applied Research Fundamentals Microcredential
Applied Research Fundamentals is a series of 3 courses (totaling 68 hours). The focus is to help those interested in solving problems and creating innovative solutions understand and utilize applied research skills. Learners will operationalize knowledge and skills to develop projects that model ethical, evidence-based inquiries that produce results that can be shared to influence practices and policies.

This means you learn the information at your own pace and work independently through the course material. You can log in and out of the course as needed. You will rejoin where you left off if joining from the same device. There are no ‘live’ classes.

To complete each course in the microcredential you will need access to a computer or tablet (not compatible with using a phone), WIFI and a quiet place to work on the course.
