Advance your career with 100% funded training designed by industry experts to meet the growing demand for skilled workers.  The job-seeker program is a short 2-week training program that will provide the basic skills to launch your career in Hospitality for job-seekers who are unemployed or underemployed, and three 2-day incumbent worker training programs designed for incumbent workers in the sector.

    • Program Location: Base 31 @ 26-343 County Road 22, Picton, ON K0K 2T0 (transportation supports available).
    • Eligibility:  Review eligibility requirements for each stream (job-seeker & incumbent worker) below.

Job-Seeker Programs

TBA (Starting TBA, 2026)

Job-Seeker Eligibility

      • Unemployed or working less than 20 hours per week
      • 15 years of age or older
      • Not participating in full-time training or education
      • Poor employment history, such as long-term unemployment, underemployment, or precariously employed, including interruptions in work history
      • Low-skilled or require essential skills training or upgrading
      • Interested in pursuing a career in the Hospitality Sector

Incumbent Worker Programs

The Business of Hospitality (Nov 25 & Dec 2, 2025)

This Two-Day Hospitality Course is designed to strengthen the business and operational understanding of professionals working in the hospitality industry. Through an engaging mix of discussion, case studies, and practical exercises, participants explore key topics such as guest experience management, event coordination, financial operations, budgeting, and business fundamentals. The program focuses on developing well-rounded, service-minded professionals who understand how daily operations connect to broader business goals, enhancing both customer satisfaction and organizational performance.

This Two-Day Hospitality Course is designed to strengthen the business and operational understanding of professionals working in the hospitality industry. Through an engaging mix of discussion, case studies, and practical exercises, participants explore key topics such as guest experience management, event coordination, financial operations, budgeting, and business fundamentals.
